On this Master Idea episode, Chris Swenson introduces the listener to a key marketing formula:
Private Practice Marketing = Community Service (CS) + Giving (G) + Romance (R)
Casey Truffo, author of Be a Wealthy Therapist, essentially describes Community Service (CS) best when she states, “If you’re not marketing your practice, you’re doing your community a disservice. You owe it to them to let them know there is hope and help.”
Giving (G) is basically giving of yourself and being of service to others. Put yourself in other’s shoes and ask, “How can I serve?”
Romance (R) and marketing is a strange combination! However, Casey Truffo put’s it best when indicating how marketing is not just about building any relationship with others, but actually is all about building quality relationships. As therapists we are built and trained at developing relationships with others. I agree with many other Private Practice authors when they feel that who better at building relationships than therapists!
